Hydrology: Rainfall
Hydraulics: Physical properties of fluids, Hydrostatics, Hydrodynamics (orifices, weirs, channels and pipes). Soil-water relationships: Soil-water potential, Soil-water constants, Soil moisture retention curves, Water flow in saturated and unsaturated soil, Infiltration.
Irrigation technique and methods: Crop-water and irrigation requirements, Irrigation parameters and irrigation scheduling, Sprinkler and localized irrigation, Fertirrigation.
