Course Content
Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Digital data and maps. Input, storage, query and editing. Geographic Positioning System (GPS) system and applications. Spatial analysis with GIS. The course includes theoretical lessons and laboratories for the use of GIS and remote sensing software, spatial analysis, and GPS.
