Learning Objectives
The course is intended to provide the students with theoretical knowledge of biotechnologies and of their applications relevant to the nursery techniques. The student will acquire expertise and will be provided with an exhaustive knowledge of the applications of in vitro tissue culture aimed at the nursery activity and with a basic competence of the main techniques of molecular biology and genetic engineering. The student will be able to organize and manage the activities of an in vitro culture lab and support scientists and researchers involved in genetic analyses
Prerequisites
Courses required: inorganic and organic chemistry, botanics, plant physiology. Attendance at lectures, practice and lab, although not compulsory, is strongly recommended
