The course offers a reference framework on the economic and legal aspects related to the management of nursery enterprises.
For the economic aspects, it deepens the management of the nursery businesses with respect to the market dynamics of the products and those of the agribusiness system.
In particular, the following topics will be addressed:
- The specificity of production processes in agriculture and the implications for nurseries management.
- The market of agricultural and nursery products: demand, supply and price dynamics
- The agribusiness system: structural and evolutionary features and tools for analysis
- The budget of the nursery business
- Public and private financing for the nursery business
As regards the legal aspects, the course aims to provide specific knowledge regarding the subject of agricultural law through the study of its regulatory sources, both at international and EU level, and at state and regional level, as well as by examining individual areas and legal institutions . I
n particular, the focus will be on studying the activity of the agricultural enterprise, paying special attention to the nursery discipline.
